Don't spend too much money on makeup!

I wonder who will end up with this to use?   Getting a free sample to try through www.buzzagent.com.   Two ladies in the house who want to look their best....May have to pull the parent rank out on this so I can use it.  I know Taylor will want to steal it from me when it comes in.

UPDATE:  So I received my sample....Finally!  Awesome product!!!  Talk about going on smooth!  I love it!  And for the record...I have to go look for it everymorning.  Taylor comes and steals it!  Give it a try!  You will love it, too!

I'm a Freebie Junkie!

Oh how I love to go to my mailbox!  I used to hate it... Now, I can't wait for the mail to run.  I have racked up on getting so much good stuff!  Darin, of course, still thinks I am nuts!  Just wait till I get that one wonderful "free item" and I will show him!  I am currently working on a campaign through www.bzzagent.com trying out Science Diet dog food  www.hillspet.com/products.  I am a little worried about it.  They are sending me a 3.5 lb bag of food for me to try and that is not very much considering I have 4 dogs.  Ace, the Great Dane, could eat that in one feeding.  That is, if I would let him!
Ace, our gentle giant!!!
Hopefully, I can satisfy their requirements with what I am provided.  We shall see!

We are just around the corner from spring break and we can't wait!  We will be going to Gatlinburg, TN for a quick trip!  It has been years since I have been, (I think I went one time as a kid) and I can't wait.  Darin bought me a new Canon Camera and I am hoping to get some really good photos while we are there.  The weather forecast is calling for rain, so I hope it is  wrong!

Both kids are playing softball this year and I am so excited to be a "SOFTBALL MOM"!!!!!   I have always wanted to be one!  Pretty lame, I know!  :)  But I am one happy momma!  Taylor played when she was younger but didn't like it all that much.  She is giving it another shot!  Jacob, is finally moving up from T-Ball and is now in coach pitch.  This year should be very interesting.  Looking forward to it!  I just hope I can get the kids to where they need to be on the the days that Darin is working and can't help!

Until next update...

Children's Advil

I have been chosen to sample Children's Advil for a campaign through http://www.smiley360.com/.  This is my very 1st one so I don't know what to expect.  I just signed up with them today!  That was quick!!!!  Go  check them out!

I hope that I receive my packet in the mail soon.  Jacob has been running a low-grade fever for a few days.  He has the "crud" that just lingers and lingers....Poor baby!  Hopefully he will be better soon!

My new obsession...

My oh my, have I started something new....Darin thinks I am nuts but I am having so much fun doing it.  I have started to find out how to get free samples of all kinds of items.   Any and everything....The more the better....Food and drinks, to makeup and perfume.  I have even gotten free cleaning samples!   Let me make sure you got that.......I said FREE!!!!!!!!!    I just love my new "junk" mail!  Ha!  It sure is nice to get something in the mail other than bills!!!!!!  I have also signed up to take surveys and try products out for points that I can redeem for cash and prizes.  I am new to this so I will post as I go along to let you know how it's going.  We shall see if it is worth it.  A few of the sights that I have come to love are http://www.myfreesampleproducts.com/ and http://www.bzzagent.com/ .  Check them out if you have time.  I must mention that I have never been asked for my credit card information or information that I would consider personal.   As far as I can tell and have experienced, these sights are legit!

I started back running/walking today.  I have not done it much since before the holidays.  I could tell too!  I am one of those people that just HATES to exercise.  It does not put me in a good mood.  It puts me in a really bad mood!  I am hoping that it gets better when I get back in the routine of doing it more often.  I was doing so good before Thanksgiving and Christmas hit!   I was walking/running two miles at least 5-6 days a week.  It felt so good to know that I was losing weight and bettering my health at the same time.  But today, was a whole different story!

Things are finally looking up...Praise Jesus!

It has been such a long time since I have posted.  I enjoy reading and looking at blogs that I follow but as of today, I can say that I still don't know what I am doing when it comes to this blogging stuff!  I want a cute background and be able to add pictures that actually look like they are in the right place.  Can someone please shed some light on this for me?  I would so appreciate it.

The kids are growing up way too fast.  Taylor is 13 and Jacob is 7.  Still can't believe that I have a teenager!!!!!   That is just not possible.
Jacob at his 7th birthday party!
Taylor's picture is just a picture that she took of herself that I love!

That girl is all about taking pictures of herself!  All she does is take pictures with her phone.  Makes Darin and I so mad!   We get tired of looking over at her and that is what she is doing. I am talking 24/7.  No joke!   She just got finished with her 1st year as a cheerleader for NHMS.  (Jr Varsity) She had so much fun!  We all enjoyed watching her cheer.  Jacob is the same as usual.  Cares about nothing but playing.  He never stops!   Makes me tired just thinking about it.

Things are finally going good for us.  We are almost completely debt free.  Well, except for our mortgage?Praise the Lord!   With His help and many blessings, we are heading in the right direction!   Took us long enough but we made it!!!!!!   YIPEE!!!!!!!! We are very proud and looking forward to being able to breath and finally keep our head above water.  I must admit, the devil has been on me really hard, just making me think that something bad is going to happen.  I mean, since being married and on my own, that is all that I have ever know, was to struggle over robbing Peter to pay Paul!  I know he wants to steal our joy, but I am human, and give into the overwhelming feeling of worry that something is about to come around the corner and hit us.  You know, the "black cloud" that has been following us for so long.  Does anyone else have that stupid thing following them around?

Just so you know.....how this blog appears on my page is not how I wanted it......I do not want the kids' pictures to be on top of each other, I want them to be beside each other!!!!!    Makes me so mad, I could just spit!   And I don't want to even try to do a collage.  Oh my!   One day....I will figure it out!  I think I have said that on every post that I have done!  LOL!  And I still haven't done it!  Oh well, some of us have it and others don't!

Oh, you will probably be seeing a lot of post about in the future about things that I will be trying out!  I have  gotten in to getting "freebies" and have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming months.  Darin thinks I am crazy but I just love trying to prove him wrong!

Have a wonderful week!!!!!  Until next time...

The Holidays are among us!!!!

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Can you believe that? I do not even want to think about Christmas being just around the corner! Oh my!!!! Yesterday we celebrated Taylor's 12th Birthday. It seems like yesterday that she was just a baby. I cannot believe how much time has just passed us by. I need to stop and smell the roses while I still have the chance. We all do!

I am especially excited this year about the upcoming holidays. I am not going to let the devil steal my joy this year. I have a lot to be thankful for and realize now that I can't please everyone, so why try? I am not going to sweat the small stuff anymore. Well, it has not been small to me in the past, but this year is going to be different.

Jacob is in Kindergarten this year and so far he likes it. He is under the impression that a Yellow light is a good light. I was not on the same page with him on that thought but after he started bringing home red lights....I am beginning to LOVE those yellow lights! Taylor moved to Middle School this year and she loves it. They both have had a good year thus far.

Happy Thanksgiving!
